Help
The questions we are actually asked, answered at the length they deserve.
Is there a minimum order?
Not one imposed by us. The factory's MOQ is real — a mould, a reel of components or a minimum cell purchase has to be paid for by somebody — and it is printed on every listing. For personal-scale purchases the Buy for me service has no minimum at all.
Can I get a sample first?
Yes, and you should. Sample cost is usually the unit price plus tooling or setup where it applies, and courier. Where a sample comes from stock it can ship in days; where it is made to your specification, allow two to three weeks. Sample cost is often credited against a production order, and we will tell you upfront whether that applies.
How do I pay, and who am I paying?
You pay the company that is selling you the goods, against that company's invoice in its own name, normally a deposit with the balance before shipment. Today that company is Shenzhen Sunning Tension Industrial Co., Ltd., the Chinese company named on the terms page — it sells the 3C lines here, and until the first member factory listing appears, everything else as well. When a member factory sells to you in its own name you will pay that factory and not us. We do not hold funds in escrow or transmit your money onward as a payment service, which is a deliberate decision about Chinese payment licensing rather than a missing feature.
How long does an order take?
For an ODM product from stock tooling, typically three to five weeks in production plus freight. For a custom product with new tooling, three to five months to first production. Chinese New Year moves everything: factories close for two to four weeks and the two weeks either side run at reduced capacity, so a January deadline needs an October conversation.
Can power banks be shipped by air?
Usually, if they are rated at 100 Wh or less. A 20,000 mAh pack is about 74 Wh and travels as UN3481 with the equipment; a 27,000 mAh pack is over 100 Wh and cannot go on a passenger aircraft as ordinary cargo. Cells ship at no more than 30% state of charge. This is the single most common reason a launch date slips, and it is knowable before you order.
What happens if the goods are wrong?
Tell us with photographs and the carton numbers as soon as you can. Your contract, and so your claim, is with the company that sold you the goods: where a member factory sold to you in its own name it is that factory; on a listing marked Official Factory it is Shenzhen Sunning Tension Industrial Co., Ltd., and there the goods are that company's responsibility rather than the factory's. What can be recovered depends heavily on whether the problem was visible at pre-shipment inspection, which is why we would rather delay a container than release one against a failed check.
Do you handle customs at my end?
We prepare the export side and the documentation, including dangerous-goods declarations where they apply. Import clearance in your country is normally handled by your own broker, and we will work with them directly on the paperwork.
Can you find something that is not in the catalogue?
Yes — most of what our listed factories make is not on the site yet. Describe it, or send a photograph, and we will look in the book by hand.
Do you check the certificates a factory uploads?
No — not before it goes on the page. The factory sends the document, we hold it, and we show neither an expired one nor one that never arrived. We have not been to the issuing body, so a certificate here says "Unverified by YCP" unless the factory paid us to check it and it stood up; whether to rely on an unverified one is between you and the factory. A factory can ask us to check one of its own documents and we will quote it that check; if it does not hold up, it comes off the page. Nothing on this site is ever charged to you.
